There is also a placental septum on the placenta. The fetalplacenta is composed of the amniotic membrane (cyan), chorionic villus (formed by pink fetalconnective tissue and green trophoblast). And it can be seen that most of the villi stem and villi are emitted from the chorionic villi. On the maternal fetus, the opening of uterine arteries and veins can be seen in the villous blood gap. On the fetalplacenta, a branch of the umbilical artery can be seen, which eventually enters the central axis of the villi (connected by capillaries in the middle).
